Who we are
Northweds is a curated, verified community for North Indian professionals and business owners living outside India. This policy explains how we handle the personal information you share with us when you join our waitlist or contact us. You can reach us at hello@northweds.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect your first name, email address, country, city, gender, age group and profession. A phone number is optional. We also record how you found us (for example a campaign link) and any feedback you choose to share.
Why we collect it
We use this information to understand where demand for Northweds exists, to contact you about your application and the launch of your community, and to shape what we build. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Legal basis
Where laws such as the GDPR (Europe and the UK), PIPEDA (Canada) or the Australian Privacy Act apply, we process your information on the basis of your consent when you submit the waitlist form, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving Northweds. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Analytics
We use privacy-conscious, cookieless analytics to understand how visitors use this website. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
Where your data lives
Your information is stored on secure servers and transmitted over encrypted connections. Access is limited to the Northweds founding team. We keep waitlist information only for as long as it is needed to launch and operate Northweds communities; if we do not launch in your region, or you ask us to, we delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@northweds.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
